We loved the serene location of this lodge, nestled right by a peaceful river. The surrounding jungle was absolutely breathtaking and provided a true sense of escape and relaxation. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Additionally, the food was exceptional, with a farm-to-table approach that highlighted the organic ingredients grown on site.
One small improvement that could be made is the addition of bedside lights for reading. This would have been convenient for unwinding in the evenings.

We loved the isolated, rural location right on the river. The gravel road in was as expected and added to the adventure. The howling monkeys were a highlight, and the staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, especially Armando, the garden supervisor, and Pop, the wildlife guide. The fact that the managers employed local people was a great touch. The gardens on the property were beautiful and the farm-to-table meals were delicious. we felt welcomed and learned a lot during our stay.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

We had an amazing stay at this lodge! The location was stunning - nestled in the jungle and by a river. It was so fun to swim in the river and try out the rope swing. The wildlife was incredible - we could hear the howler monkeys at night and spotted huge iguanas in the trees. The staff were so friendly and made us feel welcome. The food was delicious and made from ingredients grown on their farm. We especially enjoyed the tour of the farm and learning about the sustainable practices.
The lodge is quite secluded and not easily accessible from the main roads. Also, the menu options at the restaurant were limited, especially for vegetarians like myself.

I recently stayed at a beautiful jungle lodge on the river in Belize for three nights at the end of March. The cabanas were comfortable and luxurious with a stunning view of the river. The staff was exceptional, friendly, and eager to share information about the local plants and fruits. The lodge's garden was lush and full of birds and insects. The jungle atmosphere was complete with howler monkeys, iguanas, and a massive cotton tree. The meals in the main lodge were delicious, and the serene setting made for a peaceful and memorable stay.
I totally recommend this hotel.
